| This isn't the intended design for my 2009 homepage. Initially, we wanted it to be complex but easy on the eyes at the same time. However, remaking everything might not be such a big deal after all, it just gets boring as time passes. Perhaps time could be better spent on doing something more constructive than to reminisce the 12 intense hours of play-god in lab. Anyway, I hope the design isn't too plain. | You know, if you're someone(especially a guy) who stuggles with being emotional, and you feel weak because the world tells you you're emo and therefore you suck, you're not alone. But keep in mind one thing - at least if you believe me - that it is satan telling you this. Maybe you never knew satan was an accuser, but know that he speaks to you lies about yourself through every way he knows possible, particularly through your friends since they're one of the most important things in this world that you are able to interact with. This is a world which has defined its own standards, claiming that you'll be better off focusing on outward appearance, or you're a real wimp if you're emotional. Your friends tell you that your hair's nerdy, or your dressing's goofy, but by whose standards? Does your make-up or your pair of sneakers give you greater value than who you already are? Soon you'll realise that chasing after these things will lead you into serious consequences, in particular, bondage. The day you did nothing about your outward appearance before leaving the door is the day you felt most self-conscious and inconfident. You'll be running around the stores or looking through magazines just to keep up with what looks good on you, or look to various sources on how to look confident(chin up, chest out). Haven't you learnt what inner beauty is? Have you not realised your display of confidence is the manifestation of your self-assurance? How can you be self-assured unless you can live a day with confidence without the need of following to rules set by the world? What do you achieve at the end of the day? Fulfillment in life? Not at all! I guarantee you, life'll be a routine! It'll tiring and meaningless despite all the laughter you have had throughout the day. No secularised person can give an answer as to why you're feeling such a lack of fulfillment. To you, everything's dry as chaff. Maybe it's time to reflect on your direction of pursue all this while. Now whose claims have you been perceiving as truths? Is it the world's? Let me tell you frankly. I have been in the exact same struggle for a couple of years and I do not deny experiencing the same way as described. I know however, that I carry an advantage. I have identified the foolishness of lusting for the flesh of the world, so I have decided to pull out from this ENDLESS MASQUERADING COMPETITION the world has established since the beginning of time, and I am in the process of getting rid of any selfish ambition or evil desire that I may still possess(at least those that i have already identified)...PERIOD. | Alright it's great that I worked on my computing coursework today! I've already wasted the first hour doing a program that didn't make use of classes, so I've lost my precious emergency time. However I managed to cover quite a bit on my class design and part B1 during my second hour. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to pull everything off including part B2 without errors by the 3rd hour! Part B2 should be simple since it's just tests on switch-case and module-linking. AND.. My bro's comin up with new designs for hour 2009 website! We have created an real website index this time, that has full coverage of the websites we did over the past couple of years!
